Easter

The Passover

Easter, also called Easter Sunday, is the central Christian feast, which marks, according to the canonical Gospels, Jesus' resurrection on the third day after being crucified.
Easter marks the end of Holy Week, which commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus. A Holy Week is followed by a period of fifty days called Easter season, which ends on Pentecost Sunday.

The Easter bunny (bunny sometimes spring in the U.S.) is a character that appears like a bunny brings Easter eggs, sometimes depicted with clothes. In the legend, the creature brings baskets filled with colored  eggs and candy to children's homes, and therefore has similarities with Santa Claus, as both bring gifts to children on the night before your holiday accordingly. It is first mentioned in the work of Georg Franck von Frankenau In ovis paschalibus (About Easter eggs), which refers to a tradition of Alsace of a hare brings the Easter eggs.
